I have purchased Plumbing City and Guilds level 2 cd for my son and
downloaded the Gola test. My son passed his exams the information from
your cd and dowload was invaluable.              

I used the Learnatrade questions religiously for Level 2 and I am sure, thanks to them got through almost all of the exams first time (had to do "top-up" for one I think?). So, firstly, I would simply like to say "THANK YOU"...

the revision software is quite helpful but you are spot on the way
city and guilds poeple are out of this world with there terminology.
You need a dectionary to understand their questions.

It's a pitty the colleges don't do something like this
that we as students can take home with us.

So far the questions have been very good.
On the online paper that you have to sit, there have
been some questions that have been totally irrelevent
for a plumber such as "What is the standard width of
a foundation" and "Where would you find a queen brick".
Please could you include some questions on gas theory
as this is also in the exam but not in any of the level 2 books.

As far as I am aware I have passed the 4 papers I
sat this week. I have to wait until I receive official
written notification from C&G.
None of the 3 candidates I was with were asked to redo
any questions so we can assume that we have all passed.
I did pass on your website address to the other lads
and advised them to download the software for £10.95
for future exam practice etc

as revsion, i downloaded it and i found it to be very
usefull, i also had the Q. about the bonding 4mm (10mm)

The revision software was a great help for remembering the
various facts. It certainly helped to reduce the time in taking

Thankyou so much for being so helpful, and damn right funny with it, you should of come to me about the fire extinguishers senario, know the answers just cant see the questions lmao. I will of course send the other back. I was wondering if you had considered selling this on ebay. I sell informational CDs on there myself, to pay for tools etc, I know for a fact this CD would go down a storm on there, seriously, most of the plumbing stuff people are adverting on there as NVQ 1,2,and 3 is actually American army manuals, and as youre a person after my own heart of giving people good info at a reasonable price, I really feel you should get it listed on there asap in time for exams. Besides although you have a website, it was only my tutor that made me aware of you, ebay can also be seen as a way that joe bloggs gets to see you and your products, and cheap advertising is never a bad thing. Think about it anyway, because I honestly believe there is an opportunity to be had there.

Just to let you know that the download worked well and the programme is up and running.  The new disk arrived today, thank you.  I have tried a few of the tests and they seem very good.  I will be trying them out on one of my groups next week.  If they are as impressed with it as I was I think you may well be getting some orders.

Getting some good feedback from students who have brought the new study
disc and it is being supported by the previous year students who
confirmed that it helped them.
The uploadable/downloadable site is a fantastic idea spent three hours
today looking through what was there (still cannot get the 6 min how not
to video to play though, I'll keep trying )

Hi Norm.    I did my seminar for stage 2 of my teacher training last week and chose
power-point as a form of blended and e-learning as my subject.  I wizzed
briefly around your site (inc the forum) via smart board as part of the
presentation and had the whole group wowed to say the least.  I realised
how lucky we plumbing teachers are by having the site, and it seems that
there is no provision like it anywhere else in the FE teaching sector.
The e-learning course I have enrolled on has been fascinating so far,
and I think I will be featuring my involvement with you heavily
throughout.  I will keep you posted with stuff I discover.  I have
collated lots of sites addresses already, I don't know how much you want
to know.  Let me know, if you know what I mean!!

Afternoon Norm,
many many thanks for this latest on-line GOLA test cd-rom, I got it yesterday
- it is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, must have taken you weeks if not months to put together.

The questions are set just at the right level to make the students/candidates actually think, and there are a few qs in there to make all us "eggspurts"  think twice (even thrice in some cases !!!)……………..
