I've upgraded to the latest verson of the software and I get an error message If you've had one of the older versions of the software, you must get rid of all traces of it before you install the new version otherwise the security files from the first version will upset the way the new one works. You may be upgrading to either a 32 bit system, or a 64 bit system. The new versions of the Plumbing Revision with a product key code starting PR01 or the Core Gas Safety CD starting with GAS2 will now work on both 32 and 64 bit systems. To get rid of an old version of the software, this is what you have to do. If it's a 32 bit system, do this. If your system is 64 bit it's a little more complicated because Vista 64 in particular likes to make additional copies of the software for some reason. So what you have to do is this. Rather than following these instructions, you might like to watch a film showing how it's done.
